Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Coolaid Blog collects when you visit coolaid.click, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. In this policy, “Coolaid Blog”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the website at https://www.coolaid.click, which is run by Chef Azo from the United Arab Emirates. If you have any questions, email [email protected].

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, the subject you choose, your message and your agreement to this policy. To block spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser when you send a message.
  • Comments. If you leave a comment, we collect the name, email address and optional website you enter, your comment, and your IP address and browser user agent to help detect spam.
  • Email. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Like almost every website, our server records basic details of each request: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and device type. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting, and they are deleted automatically after 7 days.
  • View counts. To show how many times an article has been read, the site creates a one-way hash of your IP address, browser and the article ID, keeps it for 12 hours to avoid counting repeat visits twice, and then discards it. Only the total count is stored. No cookie is used.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used. See the Google Analytics section below.
  • Advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. See the Google AdSense section below.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. See the cookies section below and our Cookie Policy.

Storage in your browser

The site stores two small preferences in your browser’s local storage:

  • coolaid-tools-units remembers whether you prefer metric or imperial units in the calculators.
  • coolaid-theme remembers whether you chose the light or dark color scheme.

These values stay in your browser. They are never sent to our server, and you can remove them at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for coolaid.click.

How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • reply to your messages and questions;
  • publish and moderate comments;
  • keep the site secure and protect it from spam and abuse;
  • understand which guides and calculators are useful, so we can improve them;
  • show ads that help keep the calculators and guides free;
  • comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads on this site.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of a third-party vendor’s use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices. If you are in Europe, you can also use www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Google may also allow certified third-party vendors and ad networks to serve ads through AdSense, and these companies may use cookies too. If you opt out of personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will not be based on your browsing history.

To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s advertising policies.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to see how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, how visitors arrive at the site, the type of device and browser used, and the approximate location (country or city).

  • IP addresses. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Google uses your IP address only to work out your approximate location, and then discards it.
  • Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID, which last for up to 2 years.
  • Retention. We keep detailed Google Analytics data for no longer than 14 months.
  • No identification. We do not use Google Analytics to identify you personally, and we do not combine Analytics data with the contact details you send us.

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare

All traffic to coolaid.click passes through Cloudflare, which provides security, protection against attacks and faster page delivery. To do this, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical information about your requests. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, such as __cf_bm, and cf_clearance after you pass a security check. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. For details, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Comments and Gravatar

When you leave a comment, a one-way hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service, run by Automattic, to check whether you have a Gravatar profile picture. Profile pictures shown with comments and author details are loaded from gravatar.com, so when you view a page that shows one, your browser connects to Gravatar’s servers and shares your IP address with them. See the Automattic Privacy Policy.

Comments and their details are kept for as long as the article is online, so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments. If you would like a comment of yours removed, email us.

If you tick the box to save your details when commenting, WordPress stores your name, email address and website in cookies on your device for one year, so you don’t have to enter them again.

How contact form messages are used and kept

When you send a message through the contact form, it is sent by email to [email protected]. It is not stored in the website’s database. Contact form messages, emails sent to [email protected] and our replies are received and sent through Zoho Mail, operated by Zoho Corporation, which processes the message content and sender address to deliver the email.

We use your name, email address and message only to answer you. Messages are kept for up to 12 months after the conversation ends, so we can refer back to them if you follow up, and are then deleted, unless we need to keep a message longer to meet a legal obligation.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. Coolaid Blog itself uses cookies only for comments (if you choose to save your details) and for site administrators who log in. Google AdSense, Google Analytics and Cloudflare set the cookies described above. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will see a consent message before advertising or analytics cookies are used, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our Cookie Policy lists each cookie and how to control it.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as described in this policy:

  • Google for advertising (AdSense) and analytics (Google Analytics);
  • Cloudflare for security, performance and spam protection;
  • Automattic for Gravatar profile pictures;
  • Zoho Corporation (Zoho Mail) for receiving and sending our email, including contact form messages, which involves processing the message content and sender address to deliver the email (see the Zoho Privacy Policy);
  • our hosting provider, which stores the website and its server logs.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our visitors and the site.

International transfers

Our service providers may process your information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where the law requires it, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Legal bases for processing (EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on these legal bases:

  • Consent for advertising and analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Legitimate interests in running a secure, reliable website, preventing spam and abuse, and replying to the messages and comments you send us.
  • Legal obligations where we must keep or disclose information by law.

Your privacy rights

If you are in the EEA or the UK

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete your data;
  • restrict or object to how we process it;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

If you are in California

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to:

  • know what personal information we collect, use and disclose;
  • ask us to delete your personal information;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information;
  • not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

In the past 12 months, we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as your name, email address and IP address), internet activity (such as the pages you view), and approximate location. We do not sell personal information for money. However, the use of advertising cookies to show personalized ads may count as “sharing” under California law. You can opt out through Google Ads Settings and www.aboutads.info/choices, or by emailing us.

How to exercise your rights

To make any request, email [email protected] and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. We will reply within one month for GDPR requests and within 45 days for California requests. Californians may also use an authorized agent to make a request on their behalf.

Children’s privacy

Coolaid Blog is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the EEA and the UK, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We protect the site with HTTPS encryption and Cloudflare’s security services, and we limit who can access personal information. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add new features or services. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will add a notice on the site.
